Late afternoon/early evening is a tricky time to fly too because all you can see at a distance is a siloette of the shape - makes it hard to orientate on.
These are a bit underpowered with the standard brushed DC motors, but awesome with brushless motors. Not sure I would recommend as a first plane though. Something a bit more inherently stable like an AXN Floater would be better.

If your not crashing your not flying! It happens to the pro's of pro's. Not sure about the dirt landing strip though. LOL.

the dirt might not have been the best place to fly your first plane but hey,live and learn!nor was this the best plane to start out your flying career with!lolI bought another and held on to it till I learned how to fly.Actually Hobby lobby sent me a brand new one for free!

This was the first plane I ever flew!Big mistake,hobby lobby sent me a brand new one for free!But ya its not as fast as you would think.I flies well though.
I have the set up different now.I run a 2200 30c 4cell lipo now!It way faster!Twice as fast!One of my favorite planes to watch fly!

so?Have you flown it yet?dont worry all you need is some foamsafe glue,andd some instant set,and you can fix any damage!
