This is our cover of Over You by Daughtry. We've added a PA system, better guitars, and hopefully better overall sound since our last take at it. Hope you enjoy it!

Cephas is Cameron Martinot (lead guitar), Caleb Martinot (bass), and Ryan Tallmon (vocals, rhythm guitar).

  • sorry i forgot to tell you im the guitar player from the band that you said needs rock out more

we covered animal i have become

  • Oh, ok! That's cool. haha, yeah, that was the main advice I could give you guys is just to really jam out, put your heart in it. But you did a great job on the guitar.

  • im a christian also and i think that Daughtry (to me) is a christian band

What other bands do you like?

  • Yeah, I have heard that Daughtry is a Christian.

Well, we guys in the band have different favorites, but for me personally, my favs are Switchfoot, Kutless, Skillet, and lot of other Christian rock bands.

  • why do you like this song

whats it mean to you guys

  • Great question dude, I don't normally get that. A few lines in the chorus sums it up for me: "I never thought I'd doubt you, I'm better off without you." Sometimes we think a person is going to solve all our problems, but they only end up letting us down, because no one is perfect. As a Christian, it reminds me to put my hope in Christ, and be willing let go of a relationship that may be drawing me away from Him. So that's what it means to me.

  • Hey guys you really need to get some amps with a clean channel or get a footswitch if your amps have a clean channel, The dude on the right is playin what appears to be a dean (cant see it's too dark but its cut like a dean) which is more of a heavy sounding guitar but it would still be ok if you clear up the sound by taking alot of distortion off. Keep rockin and dont let ppl discourage you, you can only get better.

  • just got to the part where you sing "I got", that's the type of distortion Chris puts into the higher notes in this song.

  • hey guys good job again all I can say though is a again a bit less distorionon the guitars a bit of rasp in the vocals and btw.... it's okay to kind of shout on this song :)

  • thanks man
