  • Can you do this but instead of installing mandriva could i use Ubuntu?

  • @xXTRauMaazXx Already done. It's for 10.04 though, 10.10 is even easier, you don't need to do the unallocated space in Windows.

  • does mandriva have some kind of firewall or something?

(not that i expect a lot of viruses working on it but still....)

thanks for your great tutorial it's great :D

  • @olha1 You could use firestarter for firewall. If you wanted antivirus there is clamwin.

  • I know it might be a noob question, but in the other video you said that since linux is a open source os, will it allow others to have access to all your files on the hard drive?

  • Of course not, that would be ridiculous.

  • @olha1 I think it does. You have to go into the system settings and scroll through the security tab a little.. U will find it :)

  • Hey I have everything working except that 20 GB thing that I talked about on that other vid, it is really cool and you did a very good job explaining everything so it was user friendly. One Q... I cant connect to my WIFI using my linux OS, any tips??
