There is nothing like dilgent research regarding Freemasonry, and this is nothing like diligent research. The sign of the illiminatie when they existed was the Owl of Athena, the Eye in the Triangle was universally known as the Eye of God or the Eye of Provident and shorthand for the all seeing nature of God.
