Wow...What a lovely young voice! As a pro classical singer who was fortunate enough to study with one of the greatest voice teachers of the century, I must caution you "mom" : Be VERY careful what repertoire your daughter sings at age 14. While she blew me away, singing such demanding repertoire can be very harmful for a young voice. The centuries are littered with potentially great classical voices who ignored this rule. There's no rush. You've got a very talented daughter!

@goldenthroat86 I emphatically agree with you on both counts. This young lady's performance was first rate, i.e., irrespective of the fact that she is/was only 14 yrs old . Your warning about pacing her career to protect her vocal chords is exactly right, although historically, even renown singers ruined their careers by unwise, overburdened use, e.g: Maria Callas trashed her voice by the time she was 45 ( some would say much earlier) due to injudicious use. A tragedy!

@goldenthroat86 Couldn't agree with you more. She is amazing and I have no doubt she could be world famous. As you said though her voice is still developing at such a young age so she should take care she doesn't damage it with such big pieces. I have no criticism to make of the singing!

Wow, she has a HUGE voice for a 14-year-old! If she's careful and keeps working well there's no end to how far she can go with her voice!

Querida debop70: sin cuidado, puede arruinarse la voz, con un riesgo inversamente proporcional a la edad. Los 14 años son muy delicados. PERO... tiene un talento (o varios, en realidad) increíble. Con buenos maestros e incuestionable técnica, puede llegar a ser una maravillosa soprano. Les deseo la mejor de las suertes!!!
