Hey I made an Elemental Shaman and he is now lvl 50. I mainly pvp in wow and im getting pretty good with him. My question is, after using Lava burst, which is a better spell to spam, lightning bolt or chain lightning? Ive heard ppl in my realm say lightning bolt gets more boost from spell power but i see ppl using chain lightning in videos, even against a single target.

@MozzletoffHasselhoff CL is more dmg since it has a shorter cast time, but you'll go oom very quickly if you spam it, so only use CL when you can hit at least 2 targets with it.

Is frostmage and ele shammy a good comp? :)

@kurai54 it can definitely work, but just like any other ele sham 2s comp, you won't stand a chance against any half decent cookie cutter comp, like feral/disc or afflic/resto. Dots will slowly bring you down, until it becomes impossible to recover from the dmg.

@MozzletoffHasselhoff the reason why people use chain lightning is because its burst..

if u use lava burst then chain lightning, both will hit the target the same time

@MozzletoffHasselhoff Since you are doing pvp, use chain lightning once after lave busr. If yoy do that, the lava burst hit and chain lightning while come at once. After you've done that spam lightning bolt until 9 charges of lightning shield or lava burst comes off coldown

@Sh4mazing The truth is I haven't seen another shaman using it yet. But tbh, I think it's underated. I've caught rogues and ferals out of stealth or prevented them to restealth countless times. It gives you something to deal with rogues trying to restealth in a smoke bomb at range. It peels for your partner when he's getting cleaved. If you use it whith lava flows, it will be a ~1.4 sec cast and will tick fast enough to almost garantee procs. If you look closely, you'll see my eq intterupts poly

@arkeylol ahh yea I know those, but I was more interested in the elemental shaman in the invitationals video : / but one more question, why do you spec into Earthquake: I mean sure it's AOE damage does a moderate (not that good) amount of damage and has a slight chance of stun, but the mana cost+cast time of it makes it completely useless and unviable if you have someone on you which as an ele shaman we usually do?
