Video and stills of the Saint Patrick's Day Parade, held in Liberty Square, Thurles, County Tipperary, Ireland, on March 20th 2011, on an pleasant unseasonably sunny afternoon. Thurles(pronounced like Thur-less) has a population of less than 8,000 souls and many turned out to view and participate. Hayes Hotel, where one of our most famous sporting organisations, the GAA(Gaelic Athletic Association) was founded in 1884, is shown in the backdrop. We are the home of HURLING and All Ireland Champions last year in 2010.
