Two friends and I went to the Mothers of Rock concert tonight. The concert pays tribute to influential female musicians, as performed by UMass Lowell students, and is just one of dozens of events for Lowell Women's Week. I tried to condense the 2+ hour concert into less than 30 minutes, and the quality isn't that great, but I think it's worth watching if you love music.

Cover songs performed: "Little By Little" by Sandra Lauren, "My Favorite Mistake" by Sheryl Crow, "Mother Stands for Comfort" by Kate Bush, "Waterfalls" by TLC, "Somebody to Love" by Jefferson Airplane, "You're No Good" by Linda Ronstadt, "Not a Pretty Girl" by Ani DiFranco, "Carmine Street" by Kaki King, "Angels Would Fall" by Melissa Ethridge, "My Immortal" by Evanescence, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper, a Sarah McLachlan medley, "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon, and "Proud Mary" by Tina Turner.

Plus original piece "Moon in New York" by Kellie Graham and Liz Kereakoglow and a happy birthday song to AJ Simard (my younger twin). ;)
