  • i agree with most here, very usefull vid thx for taking the time to do.

my only question. will the standard carb from 12v elc start 90engine be fine with a 110 engine or am i best taking what comes with these engines in a package.

    thx buddy

  • @lindonltm

Yeah, the 110 doesn't rev as high as the 90 so the carb can happily supply the fuel needed. Some of the chinese carbs are pretty poor quality.

  • Hi I have a Honda 90 and wish to put in one of these engines, where did you buy this engine as I want to buy the exact same one so it will fit straight in around exhausts and footpegs? What is the exact specification? Thanks

  • @healage88

Ebay, someone on the C90club.co.uk has informed us that the other type engines fit as the C90 engine casings will bolt on.

  • A question about the exhaust - did you just use the stock C90 exhaust?

  • @wynntom

    yes

  • @killcar5nbike2 I am restoring an old 1977 C70 and had problems with the original carburetor. I thought about getting a Chinese replacement, but had doubts about quality so luckily got a second hand Keihin carburetor.

  • I can't see how a Chinese engine will be durable.

  • why would you change a qaulity honda motor to a shitting bricks motor?

  • @killcar5nbike2 Thanks! I have a 1983 C70 (in Vancouver) and will then plan to use the stock exhaust from that for my Lifan 140cc.

  • @lewiswvr

The 110 is a torquey engine and is well suited to pulling higher gearing.

  • @ian2003cam Hey, i've clocked about 3000 on mine and it still runs sweeetly! regular oil changes (500 miles) are necersary.
