OK I have only watched this segment so far. Here are my thoughts. Overall it has a good feeling to it, mostly because the acting is serious and good, really good. To make an adaptation appealing (in this case biblical) you have to make it your own, which is what you guys did, but, man too much is too much, all that excess of colors, angular shots and movements is just distracting and makes it look like it's not taken seriously or like you're trying to hard to be cool (how old are you guys?).

But like I said, it has a good feeling to it, but is mainly the acting and the topic. But this is your vision and if this is what you wanted to reflect then good job. One thing I really really liked was the image at 1:48 (the lighting, the monochrome) I might copy it from you guys. Also, take this form a guy that likes slow-paced, boring, simplistic plotless movies, so we are not in the same page, and I have to watch the rest of the chapters for the final comments
