Christmas In The Smokies, 2011 (3 camera shoot)

I am very excited to provide this 3 camera location recording of Dollywood's classic Christmas production. This is Scott Self's last season with Dollywood. He plays the father and Angel in the show. Scott has been in this production since year one! He will be so missed by many thousands of guests. I also found out today that Arnie Shaw who plays the child is also going to be leaving after this season. What a loss this will be to Dollywood. To me this is the best theme park show you will find at any park, any time of the year. Be sure not to miss the show shortly after 24 minutes in where the Angel, Mary and Joseph singing together about the coming of Jesus. Its one of the greatest show moments you will find anywhere. Note: You can see the final show that Arnie and Scott were in, it was the last show of the year. I have it posted on my sight as well. Its a show that I am so glad I captured on video. I traveled 9 hours down to dollywood just to record it so I could share it with everyone.

@mpsfanale I would think at this point that even the park does not know who many of the people will be next year. I think it will have a number of new cast members. I will miss those who are gone very much.

Went to see this show one last time today. Saw it three times last week and when i found out it was Scotts last season i had to see it again. Was able to meet Scott and get an autograph and a pic. He is truely a nice guy, Thank you Scott for all the countless hours you put in to performing for our entertainment. God Bless you

My wife and I have had season passes to Dollywood since we moved to the area in 2001. We love coming to Dollywood and so many of our church friends go with us. We love Scott and can't imagine Dollywood without him. Scott, God bless you in the new ministry God is leading you to. Arnie, we will miss you too. What a sweet anointing the two of you have. Love this show! My favorite Christmas show. I see it twice each year. This show has such an amazing cast that never seems to time and gives 100%. I could not imagine this show without Kristen, the lead. Merry Christmas to all of you!
