  • baptising dead people is wrong haha what if a body floated away haha funny

  • @jmnunnelee It's by proxy silly, hence someone physically substitutes for the deceased person.

  • @ElderHeff : From the words of our beloved leader, Ghandi: “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." I've always felt this way about all Christians until I became accquainted with LDS members at various occasions in my life. To me, the LDS faith are an exception because of their high standards especially with the incredible opposition they face. I admire their persistence and courage to carry on. That's says a lot about them in a good way.

  • @mRwhite298 messages me: "world is full of SPIRITUAL DEAD AND BLIND who are decived by lucifer-devil-satan and amazingly to remove this blindness people should read ONLY GOD HOLY WORD/HOLY BIBLE with humble heart and all what is false will be ILLUMINATED WITH GOD HOLY TRUTH exosing satan corruption!!!"

Really? Have you a credible source?

The Bible is full of man-made myth, fairytales, superstitions.

It is just as ridiculous as the Qur'an and Book of MORmON.

  • See! Even @mRwhite298 has his man-made myth which he spouts as trvth.

He also has no proof whatsoever. Hint: No one does.

You can do all your wothless rituals that you wish. You accomplish nothing but wasting valuable time, fuel, resources which could otherwise be so helpful.

MORmONS like to think that their rituals are important "work". They enjoy being considered "worthy", to be allowed to enter exclusive places to star in absurd acts with memorized lines and costumes.

  • @hyrumsutton I know ALL about Temple "work". Correct, I do not do rituals.

I would say "meaningless" rituals, but to LBS, it has meaning - even though myth.

Imagine what good could be done if money and materials built orphanages and medical clinics rather than temples. Imagine if gas used to drive to temples took elderly to medical appointments, stores, parks and concerts instead of to worthless rituals? Imagine if deadunking were replaced with sitting and listening to seniors!

  • @MrAlanarns I don't believe they were. When Moses was in the wilderness and they had the portable temples they were treated just as sacredly as they are now. They are holy places, and you have to be worthy to enter them.

  • @robertgift Obviously temple work is meaningless to you because you don't do it or actually know what temple work is. But temple work isn't the only thing we do with our time, we also do tons of service. A few years ago I went on a trip to Mexico with other members of my church and we helped build an orphanage. I consider that a real donation of real work. On a side-note, I'm only 17 years old.

  • They protested against something against people who are not belong in the church. They feel that reptution is ruined.

So, they use commericals and newcasts to bring up thier images... then saying they are sorry.

    Nice going Mormons.

  • @GrayHatH4x0r Thank you.

One can pretend to receive names. No one will know it is fantasy.

Temple work is not "work". It is meaningless ritual which accomplishes nothing. Do you actually believe that God wants people to waste time, money, gasoline to act in worthless rituals?

LBS wash their "Jesus Jammies" separate from the rest of the wash.

Not as clean doing that. The time wasted on such nonsense is laughable. While my friend is doing useless rituals, I am donating REAL work.

  • @robertgift They are taught the Gospel in the spirit world as well. The Millennium will be a time when temple work is the most abundant for those that have gone unmentioned in the mortal life. I think, also, names of those that have not been accounted for are given by spirit of revelation as well, which would take a considerable amount of faith to receive.
