Thief-Ninja Solo Challenge Boss Review for Final Fantasy (nes) PT 1

Garland 0:01
Pirates 4:14
Wizards 7:49

I did cut out 1000 deaths from the Wizards at lower levels. Level-ups thanks to the Peninsula of Power (covered next video)

Robot Master (Boss) OST- Mega Man

I use savestates before the boss fights and the slain ones as backpacks for extra magic items. I use no cheats. I cut out all the journey to the bosses due to redundancy and time, so I only show me fighting the bosses themselves. I do, however, keep all my failed boss attempts.

  • In a regular NES version, a Solo Thief is considered IMPOSSIBLE since you can't get by ASTOS (however, one person managed to do so) In an emulator, it just simply takes a long time (50% shorter if you savestate during battle)

  • @Sandbag00 I've seen video of it done on the NES by a few different people. The Astos battle is largely dependent on critical hits smashing him before he casts a successful Rub.

Also, savestating during a battle kinda defeats the purpose of a self-imposed challenge in my opinion

  • @kamikaze9699 Heck, thief solo low level is impossible.... every OTHER one is possible EXCEPT THAT.

  • @Sandbag00 Nah! I beat the game with Solo thief without savestating. Astos' Rub does not always work. Level up the Thief a little if needed. Nothing big there. ;)
