It's hardly "Jason Alexander cameo".
He was the star of the show,and won the Tony Award. He narrated the show, introducing all the segments, played Tevye in the Fiddler on the Roof section, played Pseudolus in the "Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" section, among others.
