After finding out her mother was diagnosed with diabetes, Gen Ellis decided to do something about it. She started a blog that shares her mother's story, tips for people who have diabetes, and an outlet for others to share their stories and tips about diabetes.
The Diabetes Prevention and Control Program at the Utah Department of Health soon learned about Gen's blog and what a valuable resource it had become to people who have been affected by diabetes. Keeping Gen's central idea of sharing stories, the Utah Diabetes Prevention and Control Program started a new campaign called "Faces of Diabetes" where people from all walks of life can share their stories of diabetes to help give support and strength to the diabetes community.

If anyone is interested, i have a fan page on facebook, it's inspired by diabetes. When i get to 200 fans, i will start video blogging.
