Mark Gangloff, the US Olympic winner for the 100 M breaststroke in swimming, and his fitness coach Chris Ritter teach the Supine Lateral Kicks. ""It’s just an ab exerciser to kind of get their abs firing too. They’re just lying on their back and crossing their legs over. Scissor kicks too is kind of a common name, but it’s just using their extremities but having their core stay stable, so kind of getting ready for, it kind of mimics swimming. Keep the head in line, you wanna tighten up your core, push your back into the ground, be solid in here, and then move your legs. You don’t want to be kind of not turned on in the sense from your core. Those are about eight to twelve just three reps or three sets through that warming up.""

  • its for kids thats way hand like that

  • its a mistake to have the hands under the pelvis like that as it greatly reduces its effect on the abs.The abs are used to keep the neutral spine while the hands should be in the lumbar spine to prevent flexion.
