Once lost with the coming of the Hellbourne, the ancient sword's location was revealed in the book of a mere neophyte and brought back by the Archmage of the City of Iron. Lightbrand will offer an all new intelligence-based attack modifier to Heroes of Newerth on October 12th.

It's sort of like Sange and Yasha's combination lore except they added more bullshit to how items are combined. Good luck getting up to the auroras and getting back to your lane in time.

they talk about the backstory as if we should know wtf they're talking about, but they've never realy released or posted any kind of compendium containing this, all we have to go on is the flavor text on the learnatorium/herodex, which lacks a lot
