LOL, they sent less than 300 peacekeepers in 1973. You expect me to believe Ann Coulter was alluding to that? LOL, yeah right, she thought that Canada fought the war with the United States like in WWII, period. Pointing to a handful of peacekeepers in 1973 is just desperation at its worst. It's funny how desperate the coulter apologists are to find some sign of Canadian involvement in the vietnam fiasco, no matter how tiny. Anything to protect the neocon guru.

@mpl632 yes, but not to the Vietnam War itself, and it was not to support the Americans, and thats what they´re talking about here retard. btw its obvious that she thought that they had sent thousands of troops, otherwise she would´ve said what the troops were for, and when they got sent, something like "actually they did send a peacekeeping force in the end of the war" but she didnt.

Funny people wish to argue when the facts clearly show that Canada DID send troops to Viet Nam. When you try to make a fact different that what the fact is, YOU BECOME WRONG. If more than two ACTIVE CANADIAN soldiers showed up with the ability to fire a weapon and in military uniform then Ann was correct. Being that Canada sent tyroops to ENFORCE ( key word here is ENFORCE) the Paris Peace Accords, then Canada sent troops with the ability to fire weapons. SO Ann was CORRECT.

I think Canada DID send soldiers. Google has many references to this. Funny that people wish to argue facts when the facts make them look stupid. Whether peace keepers or not, Canada sent troops in 1973 to ENFORCE the Pris PEACE Accords. NO they didn't do any of the day to day fighting in the jungle as Americans did, but never the less, Canada sent troops if they sent more than one. Get over yourself. Ann was correct ! ! ! !
