OH MY GOD, i have just found this film and downloaded it, cant wait to see it again, i was a kid myself when i first watched it and still have memories of breaking my heart watching it, its 1 of the best classic fammily movies of the 80s that i know, if ya got a soft spot, this film will definutly make you cry, especialy at the end, im 39 now, and i bet i will still cry, tj played by RICK SCHROFER, played it amazingly, to see a little boy break his heart like that, is enough to make ya cry.

The only movie i will cry over, saddest movie ever! This kid is a great actor.
Funny thing is im not really into old films (before 90s) and i hardly ever watch them, but i came across this movie while i was helping my neighbour clean out his garage, it was hidden away in a box filled with old school movies which belonged to his wife, anyway he picked out this film out and recommended i watch it. took me 2 years to finally sit down and watch it hahahaha
This film is One in a Million
PURE GOLD

What's sad is that they don't make movies about father/son bonding anymore.
