The Guinness World Record for longest continuous vocal note (previously 57sec) was shattered on September 8th 2009 by vocal instructor, Richard Fink IV, with an official time of 1 minute and 43 seconds at GFI Studios in Webster, NY.
check out this guy's incredible performances on cd by Speaking To Stones , absolutely killer progressive melodies. a true gem of work. Scattered Ink is also very worthy too if you like STS.
