Crochet along tutorial for the Grannie Ripple Afghan. Find the pattern on my website: http://www.freewebs.com/bethintx/grannieripple.htm. Sandie Petit of Crochet Cabana made it available in PDF here: http://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.crochetcabana.com/Patterns/Other%2520D... Sandie! If you have a copy of this pattern from before March 21, 2010...corrections have been made, so you will want to pick up a new copy.

  • Thank you so much Beth! I love your tutorials. Thank you for this afghan. I am making my own as we go along. I have learned so much in such a short time because of your videos. Reading patterns is still a little tricky though. For the rest, you are very clear!

  • @olijfia Reading patterns can be tricky! Be sure to learn the proper names for stitches and their abbreviations while learning to crochet. This will make learning to read patterns much easier!

  • ho many skeins total did you use?

  • @TarotLadyLissa I used 2 lb 4 oz total of yarn. I do not remember the total amount of each color.

  • Thank you for making these tutorials. I taught myself how to do very basic crochet w a book a few years back and never thought I would progress to doing anything more complicated then a square single crochet potholder. After watching this slowly and working along with your instructions I have completed my first ripple afghan. It has a few mistakes in the beginning of it but by the time I finished, I understood & fixed my errors. I am looking forward to starting a new perfected one. thanks!

  • Thank you so very much for this tutorial. I am crocheting along with you. I feel like I will actually finish this. I am a crocheter for many years mostly baby afghans. This one is for me! Thank You! I am looking forward to your next afghan.
