Co-operatives Fortnight June 19 - July 3 is a chance for co-operatives to show the public just how much benefit being co-operative can bring.

Llanmadoc Community Shop was set up by the village following the closure of their Post Office. It is run entirely by volunteers and stocks local fresh produce.
Merthyr Credit Union was set up to help those who could not get credit from high street lenders and were turning to loan sharks and door step lenders. Everyone who saves with the credit union has a say in how it is run.
Rygbi Gogledd Cymru was set up in North Wales to be a source of inspiration for the community and young rugby players who otherwise would have to travel four hours to South Wales to see top class rugby. The benefits have far reaching effects into the community.
