Exposing Anti Lesbian/Gay Marriage TV ads

I know these TV ads are old, but I feel that someone needs to expose the dishonesty and to show examples of how they appeal to our emotion. Even though these TV ads are old, we still need to be onto these people. They are successful at their agenda and they are an obstacle to the rights of the LGBT community. Cool video, Even as a christian myself i agree with everything you said in thios video. I also want to say that there are christians who speak out against this kind of bigotry. There are people like Rev Jay bakker who is a very liberal christian who supports gay rights and gay marrage.

I agree with what you said. I do know Christians out there that are liberal and support gay rights. I think Christians, like Muslims. share a bad and misunderstood reputation.

They also make children look like little idiots "Durr I'm confused". It wont hurt a child to be confused about something. Most children find the adult world confusing. Hell most adults do too. And the issue is same-sex marriage, not what we teach in schools. Stupid, stupid, stupid ads!

Yeah, and the worst part is sometimes they are just flat out lies. We have to understand here that people who are bigoted against homosexuals can't really be honest about it, so they have to use more subtle measures. They shift the concept of oppression on their side, appeal to people's emotions, and of course they resort to dishonesty. The main problem here is that they are successful at their agenda.

Unfortunately these groups (such as NOM) are "brushed off" as crazies, and the mainstream powers that be aren't interested in calling them out on their lies. NOMEXPOSEDis fun to visit. Some may seen ridiculous but the fact still remains that they are successful at their agenda. My problem is that the reason they are successful is because they resort to dishonesty. The mainstream public really needs to address their flaws so situations like prop 8 won't happen again because of misunderstanding.

Homosexuality is wrong because it doesn't create children. Clergic Celibacy is right because they are following God's will and abstaining from evil.

We can't let gays get married. Bigoted judges will have to give them licenses. Bigoted owners of B&B will have to give a room to gay married couples, which are somehow worse than unmarried gay couples. The horror, the horror.

With this kind of logic, how is SSM still illegal?

But homophobia isn't a backlash. It's always been there.
