@mprat1225 also the Engine has to push the power steering so removing it adds power to the motor

@mprat1225 thats not the reason. power steering takes power away from the engines rotating power. and it saves a bit of weight because you dont need the fluid. same thing with AC. more accessories= less power.

is it true with so many power most of these dnt got power steering?
thats what my friend said cause hes EG is hella quick and i told him y not power steering in it?

the reason there is no power steering on most of the swaps is because the car's did not originally come power steering. its not really worth it to add power steering. old hatchbacks are super light anyway so power steering isn't really needed.

if you were to do this set up again, would you go gt35 or stay gt30? I just picked up a k24a1 short block, awaiting the rest of the pieces for my same build

ive never had a 35r on it but i would probably stay with a gt3076r because you can't rev it high enough to take advantage of the 35r.
