Meant to add: By the way, Big Black is considered to be Post-Hardcore Punk/Noise Rock, if you want the most accurate genre classification, although I agree genres are pretty much bullshit and just a way really for people to find the kind of music they enjoy more easily. Music is music. As was previously mentioned, Steve always considered them to be a Punk band, plain and simple. So while I definetly consider them Punk as fuck, they were actually something different, moving forward from hardcore.
