Caran D'Ache Painting by Krista Gagelman

Caran D'Ache water-soluble crayons have a very high pigment concentration resulting in brilliant hues. This technique demonstrates first applying the media dry and then spraying with water. As the media melts with the application of water the colors become more intense. The painting is finished by adding more layers of color and using a wet brush to blend and add detail.
