I like the 1k dislikes from the lazy ass redneck society we have become. We should all know more than one language. Its completely true that most foreigners speak more than one, while we live in the little illusion that its our world and everyone needs to learn our language. Guess what, we should be learning spanish as 70 million put of 300 in the US already do. And we should learn chinese cause by our own logic whoever owns the world is the primary language.

@zungaloca I did four years of Latin in high school. And which kind of Greek? Modern or Ancient? There is a difference between those two types of Greek. Do you speak all those languages my friend? I don't really think so.

And there are modern, more useful, languages that have achieved the same status(through literature, philosophy, art) as those dead languages: French, Italian, German, Chinese.

English many adverbial phrases that misuse of many people, has many irregular verbs its crazy ways of spelling words has stresses that could completely change the meaning of a sentence poems are difficult to read, even for fluent. Native speakers of English have difficulty expressing both their thoughts in English. i have heard a lot english native people. I think it's time to be honest and respect for better languages.
