And also there a lot of English speaking countries such Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone and Liberia that are poorer than the poorest Spanish speaking country. And the 16% of American population is Latin, mainly Spanish speaking.. it really offers more oportunities knowing a second language, make sure.

I'm totally agree with that. More than a half of the global population are biligual or speak more than one language. It's not so hard as it seems to learn another language, it's just learning some basic things, practise a bit, and then hearing and reading (and talking sometimes).. It's true that knowing more than one language offers you more oportunities. Not mentioning also that USA is a contry founded by immigrants, why now Americans don't want to learn at least some basic Spanish language??
