    Coffee Snob reporting for duty! While not espresso, this Moka Pot style coffee maker WILL produce a significantly stronger brew than a percolator or electric drip.

    I've always found flaws in the design of Moka pots; the Al top that requires "seasoning", the inability to interrupt brewing before the bitter dregs burp out at the end, the fact that while boiling the water you burn the grounds.

    Typically, the response is to develop complex, myth-based traditions that accommodate these flaws because, "this is just how it is done"
