On 10th of December 2007 England was being battered by gale force winds and I had to travel to Guernsey on business. I can't say the flight started out smooth because it was bumpy right from the start.
The airport had been closed the day before due to the bad weather. I was told later the the Bombadier Dash 80 lands heavily at the best of time due to its small wings and therefore fast landing speed but this was much harder than I expected. You can see how the plane is rolling around as we approach the airport.

  • Really rough landing, but hey, some landings are good others are "not so good" ;)

  • I guess any landing you walk away from is a good landing

  • dash 80? you mean 8?

  • Errr, yep. Have changed it. Thanks
