OAR plays "War Song" live at Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, MD on 7/26/2008. I made this video in memory of Lance Cpl. Matthew A. Snyder whose father sued the Westboro Baptist Church.

I saw them at Sustainer Theater on Logistical Support Area Anaconda, Balad Iraq in August 2007. It was a great show and most of us knew exactly who they were. Great Dedication, Great Band, Wish I'd have been home to see the Merriweather Show... in "Maryland That Is!" Thanks for coming to play for us, almost a year later, I'm still here, so come again!

I love the way this song shows the Soldiers view! I am a fiance of a soldier who is on his third deployement. This was a very touching song. Hopefully one day in the near future, all our loved soldiers, will be able to remain here at home. Much appreciation for ALL the sacrifice'es they make. God bless them all. For all the wives, girlfriends and families here, all I can say is being strong for them is the best gift we can give. ;)

They where playing the night I left LSA Aniconda Iraq in Aug. of 2007.  I wanted to see them, but not enough to stay in Iraq.... lol... I like OAR. I actually 1st heard them on cd my 1st tour in 2003, and became a fan.

Thanks for posting this song, I was a soldier once and it really does mean a lot to us whenever someone says thanks. We just usually dont have the words to give a proper response.
