Lexus and I over 2'6", no comments on the refusals. He went over it in the warm-up, but then decided he was not going to jump the brush in our class. This course was the same one we had to do for the first one.
my horse does this sometimes, I don;t have a trainer but I found a way to get them to go over with no crop, (at least my horse) I pulse with the reins (where I want her to go) and tap/kick with the leg on the side they are ducking out too. *push them back 'on track') hope that makes sense, I dont know if this is bad or good or anything-no trainer-but it works everytime without stressing my girl out lol
ehh I debated getting a crop, but I honestly highly doubt that would work with him. he isn't a big fan of them, and I mean in the way that they just get him more tense/nervous and hesitant when I use them, unfortunately.
Haha yeah. And thank you!

My pony never liked the brush in the pony ring either. lol. Oh well, horses will be horses. He looks very good as do you! Great job!

thanks, I don't have a trainer either. And I did try that, it usually works on him, but he just wasn't having it that day. =/
