Lexus and I over 2'6", no comments on the refusals. He went over it in the warm-up, but then decided he was not going to jump the brush in our class. This course was the same one we had to do for the first one.

  • Haha yeah. And thank you!

  • My pony never liked the brush in the pony ring either. lol. Oh well, horses will be horses. He looks very good as do you! Great job!

  • thanks, I don't have a trainer either. And I did try that, it usually works on him, but he just wasn't having it that day. =/

  • my horse does this sometimes, I don;t have a trainer but I found a way to get them to go over with no crop, (at least my horse) I pulse with the reins (where I want her to go) and tap/kick with the leg on the side they are ducking out too. *push them back 'on track') hope that makes sense, I dont know if this is bad or good or anything-no trainer-but it works everytime without stressing my girl out lol

  • ehh I debated getting a crop, but I honestly highly doubt that would work with him. he isn't a big fan of them, and I mean in the way that they just get him more tense/nervous and hesitant when I use them, unfortunately.

  • He needs a smack with crop XD

    Oh well, it's a learning experience :)
