Ambient Noise Performance

Ambient Noise is a short sound-based performance inspired by Jean Genets seminal piece of literature, The Balcony, which deals with the core themes of reality and escapism. Genets original script famously created an ambiguity between truth and fiction, which is revisited in Ambient Noise, offering a fresh interpretation of an old text while experimenting with the role of the audience as author.
