Joseph Fielding Smith, Sr. (November 13, 1838 -- November 19, 1918) was the sixth president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). He was the last president of the LDS Church to have personally known the founder of the Mormon faith, Joseph Smith, Jr., who was the brother of his father Hyrum Smith.

In 1917, he gave this testimony:

"Please remember me kindly to all your people and assure them that I am still firm in the faith, and there is nothing in the world as evident than the performance of my duties as s servant in the cause of truth. May the Lord bless you and your family and all who cooperate with you for the truth's sake. I am most sincerely your brother."

Do Mormons really believe this crap? Are people really that weak and dumb? Didn't crazy monks in caves create most religious stories? Weak people believe if humans wrote it, than it must be true. I believe in I don't know. And if you do know U R Crazy! Faith is great & believing in god makes people feel good & not so alone. Doctrine and Covenants 137:5-6

He was a son of Hyrum Smith. Alvin Smith, who was a brother of Joseph and Hyrum, died many years before they did. I just thought that I would clear this up. Great video!

Wow, a son of Alvin Smith. If his voice sounded like his father's and his father's sounded like his uncle's (Br. Joseph) this is the closest will get in mortality to hearing what Joseph Smith's voice sounded like. Awesome vid. Thanks

Wow! How great it is to listen to one of the prophets who lived in the days of Prophet Joseph Smith. Thank you very much for sharing such valuable information. Where else would I get access to it but by your channel? It is one of the best sources to learn about the Church as an investigator. And thanks again for the video about Dr.Kim.
