Honda S2000 Lap Record 1:24.3 Summit Point Main 7/12/09

Porsche Club Potomac HPDE on Summit Point Main 7/12/09. This is the first Red (instructor) group run. My 5th lap is a new unofficial non-race car Honda S2000 lap record with a 1:24.3 on laps 5 and 8. The official record is held by NASA TTC Champ Cale Kastanek at 1:24.495. For context, the Performance Touring C record is 1:26.262, and the TTB record is 1:23.874. I'm thinking the TTB record is within reach with a set of Hoosiers. Tthe Honda Challenge 2 racing series track record is 1:25.091 and the HC1 record is 1:21.923. Timing is from a Traqmate Complete data acquisition system.
