@namo You asked about shopping in March. The downtown and Susukino areas have road heating, so it's easy getting around there. Also, there are long underground shopping malls. You may need special boots, however, to go to other areas because it can be really icy, or might be kind of wet. Anyway, you can find my website by looking for CA in Sapporo and mail me from there, if you like.

@cainsapporo Yeah.. 18th Mar to 26th Mar 2011 i'll be there !! So excited now !! Shld be staying ard susukino area.. Are there still alot of ppl shopping even it's snowing like dat ??

@namo Yes, we don't see the ground in Sapporo from about mid-December until perhaps the end of March. Generally it has stopped by April, although it didn't this year, as you can see. April is not very beautiful in Sapporo, I'm afraid, since nothing is blooming, yet. Around the beginning of May, though, it's gorgeous! Definitely come to Sapporo if you want to see snow!
