Thanks man. This track is a bit bumpy though. I'd guess speeds around here are in the 240kph region but there are other local circuits with longer straights and at sea level where drivers have recorded on gps more than 260kph.

I also checked your videos. Are you in Aus or NZ? Seeing that your profile name is SRC73NZ.

My old man(who owns the kart) is moving to NZ later this year and would like to get in touch with the Superkart fraternity.

Thanks for asking, click "show more" in the video description. It is essentially a motorbike engine so gears are the same. The clutch lever is operated by your left hand and is nestled behind the steering wheel. 6 gears and a top speed of over 260km/h can be achieved depending on the length of the circuit. Seeing that you're in the US go google "ekartingnews" and navigate through the forum. Everything you need to know is on there and also join the forum to ask questions.

Damn that looks fun, local gokart racing only got about 6-9hp...and now that just seems weak ^^

That video just made my day :)

125cc's aren't "Little", They're 2 strokes, so they make 2x the power of a 4 stroke (for the size).
