Thanks for the compliment! Yes, it is 70.1, we have GPS-ed it numerous times. After some tweaking, the boat is running in the mid 70's now. When I get the chance to see Hooty again, we'll get an updated video.

The motor is a 90 Jett, front intake rear exhaust.

It helps it start off on plane. Outriggers can be hard to get on plane sometimes.

man...I know that...I was just pickin at him....if you noticed I was praising the design and the creativity of the boat....AND clearly said he is more talented than me. People only want to look for the negative though...I clearly gave the guy positive criticism. Your right though....I've built plenty enough fast cars in my day that looked like god and dammit..lol

Obiously you dont understand the need for speed. You'll never be a Top Gun ace talkin like that. Everyone who breaks speed records knows looks dont mean shiite, its all about performance, it doesnt look half bad.

I applaud your creativity...I could never build something like that,but PAINT that thing so it doesn't look like something BamBam from the Flintstones used to play with. I think with a coat of paint it would look pretty exotic because u made a really cool design.
