Vancouver has an annual Festival of lights which is a fireworks competition between countries. A good fireworks display is super fun. I guess that night (pardon the pun) it was "Gasglow" ... :)

Those fireworks looked spectacular! We can't afford that kind of display down here in Lancashire. Last year the local council trained pigeons to fly in concentric circles each carrying a lighted cigarette. This year it was just darkness and the occassional car alarm.
