Really like this video. It really does look lived in, the small elements such as the fruit bowl and the glasses on the table really bring it to life.

Amazing work!!! just curious.... did you model the interior elements? (i.e., ceiling fans, sofa, plants, etc....), or you bought it somewhere? if you bought it can you tell me which one? I would appreciate it. Thank you!!!! - Well Done!!!!

cool! :)
I work with 3d arch too and I gotta say it's hard to see walkthroughs with this much quality, not stills, but walkthroughs. And hey those are some killer fans you've got there eh? I wouldn't like to go seat anywhere near it!! lol
Anyway, 5* on the vid!

@georgephiliastides We use 3ds Max for creation & V-Ray for rendering.

technically speaking modern and i mean MODERN DX11 games have similar graphics renderd models which can be played in realtime take milliseconds to produce where as rendering such as in this video can take over a week, i give it until 2015 when games can render this much detail in realtime, microsoft have already announced they plan to make dx12 by early 2012 and will have over 200% more detail than the current dx11! (photorealistic gaming)

@mrh112 Let's not forget GPU rendering. That's going to be a game changer in real-time rendering.

WOW, what was the rendering time on some of those ??? That was amazing !

Some frames took 5 minutes while others took a 1/2 hour to render. 90 seconds X 30 frames = 2700. 2700 X 5 or 30 minutes = 13,500 - 81,000 minutes on one computer. We put it through our render farm and it took a few days (needed to tweak a few areas).
