Lore For Noobs : The Alliance [Part 2]

Birth of the Alliance of Lordaeron

Broken, battered and bleak the survivors of Stormwind claim refugee status as they land in South Shore. Most of the survivors are women and children with only a few soldiers among them. As soon as they made landfall Lothar demanded an audience with the King of Lordaeron. Marcus Redpath sent one of his fastest riders to warn the king of their impending arrival at the Kings Court as well as a note from Lother that stated "Tell the king that Stormwind has fallen, the prince is here, as are as many of its people that I could save. We will need supplies and quickly. And we bring him grave and urgent news." Khadgar,Lothar and Varian went to Lordaeron to speak with King Terenas who by now thanks to the rider would know of the urgency of their situation. Lothar began to tell of the Orcish Horde and its multitude of warriors, its unstoppable bloodlust, and how they will need to prepare for war for whether they like it or not it is coming and it means not just the survival of their kingdoms but the survival of their race.

(SIDENOTE: If you want to list the names of the kings attendees they are : King Genn Greymane, Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, King Terenas Menethil II,King Aiden Perenolde, King Thoras Trollbane, Arch Bishop Alonsus Faol, Archmage Antonidas, Reagent-Lord Anduin Lothar and Khadgar)

King Terenas did realize the seriousness of the situation and called on his neighbouring kings to see what could be done. The neighbouring monarchs of Lordaeron gathered in Terenas's throneroom also called to conference was Archbishop Alonsus Faol and Khadgar whom Lothar wanted to be present, Lothar began explaining the nature of the Orcs and their vast armies. At first a few kingdoms had the arrogance to suggest that they could hold the Horde off by themselves. Lother knew better. He suggested that the kingdoms band together and fight in unity. So, After working out some details - the not-yet formed alliance found out that Anduin Lothar wass a descendant of the Arathi Bloodline and realized that he could in fact call upon the High elves to this new alliance. The kings found that this information was alot to take in and decided to think on the matter before making any decisions, 2 days later they indeed came to the conclusion that the Horde was coming and when it arrived they would all stand together! This was the birth of the alliance of Lordaeron! And every Alliance needs a leader so the wise king Terenas instead of appointing one of the other kings as leader gave the position to Lothar.

shortly after the forming of the Alliance Arch-Bishop Faol went to Lothar and told him about a new branch of the church he was opening up, the branch of Paladins. The Archbishop explained how distraught he was by the fall of Northsire Abbey and how he wished there was a way for a priest to defend himself and the congregation of people he is suppose to help and heal. So he found a way to make that priest into a warrior - a warrior that fought for the light and with the light. Knights valiant and spiritual, the first 4 chosen to be trained in the way of the paladin were Uther the Lightbringer, Tirion Fordring, Saidan Dathrohan and Turalyon apart from these 4 Lothar also suggest Gavinrad one of his best Knights. And so the Order of the Silverhand was formed. It was at this time that Lothar also chose Turalyon as his lieutenant in the campaign against the Horde.

With the Alliance formed King Terenas thought it would be a good idea to contact the High Elves and remind them of the pact they made to the Arathi bloodline so long ago. The elves brought a small army with them filled with soldiers,archers, mages and ships the leader of this army was Alleria Windrunner. Anasterian and the council of Quel'Thalas sent their support because of their pact but truthfully they thought the war with the Horde distant and of no real concern to them. Alleria did not agree with her rulers and came of her own accord because she knew that if the Horde was as vicious and powerful as the report said it can easily be spread to the forests of Quel'Thalas. The Alliance set up base near South Shore and the elves sent scouts to see how far the Horde was from their position. the scout returned and reported that the Horde had taken Khaz Modan and used the Dwarven mines to craft ships of their own. With this Lothar knew it was not long before the first battle between the Alliance and the Horde would take place.. and so they hugged their loved ones, drank their alcohol and sang their last songs. After that they prepared and waited united against the coming terrifying foe...

@TheScoutProductions the original horde was an unstoppable war machine that wanted nothing but destruction and land basically being evil following demons to get it, later when thrall had united the horde and peace was reigning between the factions but then there was admiral proudmoore who was retarded and launched a new war after seeing his daughter speaking to Rexxar thus shit started going down and then the new king anduin wants to kill all horde as revenge for something i think so he wontgtfo
