Penn State students are designing and building a sustainable, solar powered, and sensible home that they will present at this years Solar Decathlon competition in Washington D.C. This dynamic group is setting out to show through their own innovations and hard work that Solar power is not "space age" or out of reach to the average consumer. The solar decathon competition will happen in October of 2009. Penn State's Natural Fusion team will be one of twenty colleges and universities invited to present their solar energy showcase homes on the national mall.

i really have respect for these people and i hope one day i can do such things as this, but i really dont think people are going to change. im going to be an engineer very soon, and i plan on building a high tech solar home as well. i find this kind of stuff very exciting, and robots too.

Penn State Proud. It is exciting to see a mating of education and real, everyday problems.
