If you feel a twinge of patriotism every time Captain America hauls out his indestructible shield, wait until you get a load of Shannon Carter (aka American Dream). She'll not only fill your chest with pride, she'll curl your toes. A dazzling blonde, she fills her red-white-and-blue costume with enough curves to provide a coast-to-coast American highway atlas. She's relatively new, appearing for the first time in 1999. She does her anti-crime work with the Avengers and her own Dream Team. No superpowers here, but she is in superb athletic condition and practices martial arts. Music is an old classic, "American Patrol," performed by Glen Miller and his orchestra.

American Dream has the look, but not the punch. What's her backstory anyways?
Personally I preferred Free Spirit/Cathy Webster since she looked a lot like Naomi Watts.

American dream is kind of like Batman...no super powers...she's awesome cause she works out and stays in shape...her shield was given to her by a Captain America from another universe....there is a figure of her as well she's AWESOME!!!!!!
