  • @W4TCH4W - Also the hood is a Trufiber Heat Extractor hood and I got it from Bangastang when I did my complete makeover. Front bumper and a complete respray of the entire car. It can be ordered painted. $415 unpainted (+$150 shipping). Can't say how much it'd cost to have it painted but you're best bet would be to call for a price or just have a local shop paint it for you when you get it. Warning - a cheap $200 paint job will never look good on this hood. It requires a lot of block sanding.

  • @W4TCH4W - Well the Bullitt handles much better & is much quicker than it was from the factory. I think the new staggard deep dish wheels actually improve on the "old School" look. As for the Filter - it's from "Green Filter" - just google it and you'll find the link to their webpage. Much better filter than the stock paper filter and is rechargable like the K&N filter.

  • Oh well i guess , everyone has a different taste :D . Also wanted to ask you where you got the neon green air filter, mine is getting kinda old... As well as how much the hood cost and did it come painted?

  • @W4TCH4W - BTW I still have the original wheels as well as ALL of the stock parts.

  • @W4TCH4W - personal choice - I wanted the larger staggered look – with 18x9" in front and 18x10" wheels in the rear. Besides the largest tire size you can mount on the stock wheels and still rotate between all four corners was 255/45s. Now I can put the much larger 275/40s in the rear – vast improvement in traction. But I was actually going to have the new wheels painted to match the stock ones - but when I mounted them they kind of reminded me of the 2001 Bullitt wheels so I left them alone.

  • Why get rid of the rims that come with it ? They were specially painted for this car and have no other alike plus they look way better... You could actually go up to 275 on those so they are pretty wide as well...
