I noticed you're using the CMI canopy tour trolley. I use the same ones. But I find it much better for the riders to hold the lanyards beneath the handles, instead of the handles themselves. I'm open to any suggestions you may have in regards to operation of the Zipline . You may have encountered some things that I haven't yet, and I'd rather hear about it first than having to find out the hard way. My e-mail is zenland76@yahoo.com
You can check out my mobile Zipline on YouTube. Look under "zenlandzipline" watch the one "adventure tower". I built it off the back of my rock-climbing wall, which I built 13 years ago. I'm not going into production. I built it just for myself. I'm in the process of reinforcing my anchor points ( back of wall, back of straight truck) to go to a 400 ft. cable. Right now I'm at 200 ft., and it's too short of a ride. I've had it engineered by 2 different P.E.s, and got it through ride inspectors
Good luck on getting a patent. My mobile Zipline has been in operation since early this year. I consulted with a patent lawyer, (actually a couple of them), and they all told me that a patent would be highly unlikely to be granted, just for the fact that there are already thousands of zip lines operating all over the world. Just because you (and me) made it mobile isn't enough to warrant it as an original idea. You might be trying to obtain a patent on the braking system, which I am guessing is
