Players of first-person shooter computer games traditionally play while seated with a keyboard, mouse, and fixed monitor.

However, these hardcore gamers soon may be unleashed from their stationary position to enjoy a realistic virtual combat experience with life-sized video images, projected on walls, ceilings and floors, all from a weapon-styled projection game controller they hold in their hands.

  • does this make the game playable ? because the game play was shity!

  • Remove the gun and put the projector further to the back of the gun to make the image bigger and il buy it.

  • @majdijr touchee. Then a button press

  • Now all I need is an empty, spherical blank white room to play it in.

  • Why not just use some sort of hmd with the gun?? This way is a cheaper one to make?

The hmd would be better. And also more immersive, because with the gun in this way, you see the gun in real life, but also see in the game, so this make the thing a little unrealistic (and so less immersive).

  • @chan0chap

    Enlist.

  • Now you just got to hook up the walk forward button on a running machine so we can get fit and play

  • i bet this is a trip

  • forse era meglio se il proiettore fosse stato separato. e quanto ti giravi girava solo l'immagine? così ci vuole una parete enorme!!!

the projector must be separated. only had to turn the view.
