Just watched this vid again. Good vid. Now that I've had the PPS for a while, I love the thing even more than I did during the honeymoon phase. As a NYC civilian, I cannot carry concealed. I plan to move to PA eventually, however, and I expect the PPS is what I'll carry. I respect your comments about shortcomings in barrel length and round capacity - for an LEO. For me, for an up-close defensive weapon it seems perfect. Higher capacity would be nice, but I wouldn't trade the slimness.

@renegade410 6+1 isn't an acceptable capacity? you should carry a 19+1 round xdm 9mm or a glock 17 with the 33 round mags 99% of the time the job of self defense is done in 1 or 2 shots i carry the kahr p380 6+1 and never feel under gunned

Great overview. Thanks. Be safe.

I plan on Carrying a 40cal P99AS as primary and a 40cal PPS as secondary and for the wife. Great review

does this require constant maintenance?
Can anyone let me know?

@AddOneForTheGoodGuys if you haven't found one you like yet, I highly recommend the Crossbreed Supertuck. I've been using that holster for my PPS for a year now, and I'll never buy another brand of CCW holster again. It's just plain awesome.

I absolutely love my pps in 40 s&w. Very accurate and very comfortable to carry. This is my primary carry gun now. As far as holsters go, I'm a big fan of the belly bands. I have 3 different styles of belly bands, as reholstering is not a concern of mine. I even carry my smith&wesson 686p, 3in. barrel in a belly band holster. My pps, 40cal, came with two mags, a 7 and 6 round. I leave the 7 round in the gun and carry the 6 round right next to the gun in the belly band holster.

Good vid. I bought one of these recently in .40 and I love it. It does kind of beat the crap out of my hand between the thumb and index, so I had to slap a Limbsaver grip on it, which does help considerably and doesn't detract much at all from the slimness. I am amazed at how controllable it is for its size - I actually shoot more accurately with the PPS than I do with my Glock 23. Not sure why.

hickok45 seems to shoot it very well, even long range...
How is the funtion on the magazine release, I never try that before ??

@rumble329 The magazine release functions fine. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but its not hard to learn how to use it.

Great video mate. I love Walther's they feel great and they're pretty sleek in design. As of now I have a Walther PPS 9mm, PPS 40 S&W, P99 9mm, and a Beretta 92 FS 9mm. Plus, not to mention that Walther's are the choice gun of Agent 007 James Bond.
