Leda's Teeter Training: Day 1, Session 2
I changed locations in my yard to vary training.
What can I say besides how IMPRESSED I am at how far Leda has coming in just TWO short training sessions!
Today was Leda's first experience EVER on a big teeter and she was wonderful!
I LOVE THIS PUPPY-DOGGIE!!!!
Leda has the BEST attitude and enthusiasm about learning anything & everything from a simple nose tough to this... sliding full blast down a teeter board!
We've progressed to just one 24" table. Leda is trying VERY hard to hit her 2o2o now that I started to ask for it. I'm very proud of her as this is VERY hard to do when she is cranking her legs FAST across the board, but in typical Ledalee style she has found a way to do what I'm asking without sacrificing speed......... have I mentioned yet how much I flippin' LOVE this girlie? =)
NOTE: One of my "training errors" in this video is my tugging style. Notice I am tugging with Leda in an 'up & down' motion which makes her look uncomfortable on the teeter. This was a mistake I did not realize til I watched this & the first video back. I will try to tug with her LOWER in the future- better on her neck & spine! So don't make my mistake! :P

Way to go Leda! Her teeter looks awesome! I love how she is so enthusiastic about this game and starts to creep in anticipation:). You and Leda are and awesome team:)!

I've never seen the teeter trained like that, good idea! I love seeing her intense drive right before you give her the ok to blast off. !!Fabulous!!

Thank you! This is a wonderful training method, because the amount of "tip" is o gradual dogs can earn confidence much faster instead of dreading that "big bang".

Aw! Thank you so much for saying that! I missed doing her videos, but now that she is all healed-up from her spay you can look out for quite a few. ;-)
