The reason so many Americans dislike Chomsky is because Chomsky uses sources outside of American media. He listens to international sources and does a meta-analysis of all the data, therefore making his conclusions more accurate. Americans dislike this because the international community almost unanimously disagrees with their position regarding the Middle East.

Chomsky is unbiased and Americans who only watch American media hate this.

Being a REAL liberal is fucking tough. You just get the same wishy washy democrats over and over again that love our corporate empire as much as the republicans. obama hasn't done anything in the way of real reform (the healthcare bill was a fucking joke that gave 40,000 people to greedy insurance monopolies). @quabot: He does. Just not all the time. Chomsky is known for his rather long commentaries, and most lay people glaze over his speaking style. If you really want him to cite his factual sources, read his books.

Correct, because an opinion is by definition neither right nor wrong.

However, when he states a FACT, something that can be proven right or wrong, he would be more convincing to quote a source, preferably a reliable one.
