WoW: Protection Paladin solo Shazzrah | MC guide (written)

First of all I want to say that I am NOT claiming to be the FIRST to do this (which I'm probably not anyways). This movie has been made with the intention of showing other players what the release of WOTLK actually did with their character, how much more powerful they have become, and not to brag about my epic tanking skills (hehe)!.

Further Information:

This movie shows my level 80 Protection Paladin (Ishmadul) solo-ing Shazzrah in Molten Core, and struggling badly.

With the release of WOTLK it's suddenly possible to solo all kinds of pre TBC raid bosses. This is another movie (check my channel for more) in a long chain of solo boss kills by me.

Nah, the DPS on the weapon is too low. Altough the proc is decent it also lacks defensive stats. So I'd pick any WOTLK 80 tanking weapon over it. Having it is more for kicks than for really using it.

i havent tried it yet but it might be easier with BoW rather than sant. just a thought.

Yeah, mana-wise I think BoW is better than BoS, you will take 3% more damage, but that might be neglectable.

in the current cataclysm build hammer of the righteous hits for 300 % WEAPONG DAMAGE... This will be INSANE! I bet it will get nerfed, it just sounds way too good.

have u folks seen the brand new rogue hack that lets you cheat in arena? its amazing, my own rogue is now in complete arena pvp equipment 2200 rating! i don't really really want to share this but what the heck.. you can find it at wowcheatsYnet (replace Y with . ) however please don't tell too many people!

Why not use shadow resist aura instead of ret aura? That way you can use judgement of wisdom, the mana pool you can use to increase DPS and heal yourself?

this is fail u dont need the judge that heals u i soloed whole molten core as ret

the judge that give mana back is what u use and all u need to heal u is seal of light

Very very easy to solo at prot paladin.. Kept Sacred Shield and judgement of light & seal of corruption up.. Didnt get under 90 % hp - ever - , nor under 60 % mana.

Thunderfury isn't a good tank weapon anymore. The proc doesn't work vs the majority of new content and the dps is way to low these days.
