Harry Werksman told us last weekend at MoonlightCon that the writers were listening to this song while working on Fated To Pretend and they really wanted to use it during the opening sequence of the episode. However, CBS vetoed that idea. If you listen carefully to the words, you'll know exactly why they did! LOL :o
I decided this was definitely NOT an HR tune, so I'll cover that part of the episode separately. Besides, there wasn't enough time to cover both aspects adequately, anyway. ;) :p

Thanks! :D The name of the song is "Time To Pretend" and it's performed by MGMT. Ninety-nine percent of the time, I name my vids after the songs I use and I ALWAYS acknowledge the artists in the ending credits. :)

Strange song but I like it! I really works! Nice video choices to accent the song. Interesting info about the song from the MLCon. Another great one Kristen!

Thank you! ;) Yeah, it is strange. I can't imagine how/why the writers thought it would fly past the censors. The beat is kewl and I like the refrain, but the actual lyrics are pretty downbeat...about drugs and dying (suicide?), I think. I couldn't really catch all of it. :o
